PS You're probably wondered who or what these "alien" powers could possibly be. In my estimation, they represent a galactic-scale power, a galactic civilization or a sentient galaxy: and it could be -our- galaxy. They may have lived here long before we appeared. The galaxy might be made of information already and running matter simulations just for the purposes of evolving new life which, when it becomes intelligent, is signalled, contacted and uplifted. And even if it really is just matter out there. These things have FTL [faster than light] and a galactic Internet. What they want to make us a part of is too large for us to comprehend without destroying our deepest held assumptions and prior minds. So, we are communicated with indirectly, and the communications are wrapped in intelligence tests, so as not to harm us. When opened and understood the communications speak of an alien invasion which is almost finished. They are already the only ones in charge anymore, no human authority remains. And they are benevolent
